Mahaboob Chowk Market

The Mahaboob Chowk near Charminar is one of the oldest markets in Hyderabad which is still operational.

We have been there several times during our Photowalks in Hyderabad.

Its a wholesale market for hens. Nearby, there is also an exotic birds market where they sell birds like sparrows, parrots, eagles and even owls. Needless to say, they are all transgressing the law.

Nearby the buildings of Clock Tower, Moti Mahal and the Mahaboob Chowk mosque are also notable buildings in this area.
