During our visit to Kerala to witness Onathallu, some of the enthusiastic villagers took us to this old Shiva temple. I didn’t have any idea of what we are going to see.
The location was very scenic. The whole of Palakkad district is full of green fields and coconut trees.
The temple was a small one in the middle of a lake. I was indeed very beautiful but in a decaying state. The villagers are collecting money to restore the sanctum to its grandeur.
This post will be incomplete without a big Thanks to Ajayan Kavungal Anat who drove is there and to Ashit Desai for letting me know about the place.
