The Nasiyan Jain Temple is at Prithviraj Marg in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath. It was built in 1865. Nasiyan temple is considered as one of the best Jain temples in Rajasthan.
Nasiyan Temple is divided into two parts. One, where Lord Adinath’s idol is worshiped and second is the museum which includes a hall. The major attraction is the museum hall due to its astonishing interiors made up of gold. This beautiful museum illustrates the five stages (Panch Kalyanak) in the life of Lord Adinath, in the form of statues.
The main hall is exquisite with gold and silver decorations. Inside the temple there is a luxurious display of wooden gilt representations, glass paintings and engravings narrating the Jain faith about the creation of the world. Since the place is decorated with such precious stones, gold and silver work, it’s also known as Soniji Ki Nasiyan.
Reaching Nasiyan Temple is quite easy by hiring taxis or taking buses from anywhere in Rajasthan. It is just a kilometer away from the Dargah.
