Hampi is a photographer's delight and this Photography Tour will help you capture the best of the place. 

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins of Hampi tell the stories of the prosperity of the place at one time. The place is dotted with magnificent temples, the most notable is the Virupaksha temple and the Vitthala Temple. The latter is the temple which has unique musical pillars.

Please note - Tripods are not allowed in Hampi without prior permissions. We will learn how to shoot in the dark without a tripod, a skill that every photographer should learn.

Itinerary -

Day 1
Saturday, December 21, 2024
Reach Hospet by afternoon, have lunch, orientation. Spend the evening shooting at Virupaksha temple and sunset at Hemakunta Hill.
Day 2
Sunday, December 22, 2024

Leave at 4am, Trek to Matanga hill for sunrise and landscape photography. Have packed breakfast. Explore on foot in the Royal Enclosure - Underground Siva temple, Krishna Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Chandikeswara,Hazara Rama Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable and the Queens bath.

Evening we will spend time at Vittala temple complex covering Gejjala Mandapa, Vittala temple, Shiva temple, etc.

Day 3
Monday, December 23, 2024
Trek to Anjanadri Hill to shoot sunrise. Spend some time around come back and check out.

Cost: Rs.INR 17500/-
Only 6 participants on first come first serve basis.

Cost includes

1. Twin sharing accommodation in Hampi. Single occupancy can be arranged on request at an extra cost.
2. Travelling in and around Hampi in a tempo-traveler.
3. Entrance ticket & camera fee to temples.
4. All meals (veg) from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the third day.



Cost does not include

1. Travel to Hospet and back
2. Any kind of personal expenses or optional accommodation, tours, guides hired, or extra meals and beverages ordered
3. Bottled water and soft drinks
4. Anything not listed above in inclusions.

 

Payment Policy

Rs.5000/- booking amount.
Rest 45 days before the date of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation costs us too.

As people generally plan in advance, it becomes impossible for us to fill the seats last moment. So, if you cancel, the seat goes vacant. Also, in most places, we have to book well in advance due to the limited choices. 

So, please book your tour only if you are sure.

> 60 days to 45 days prior to departure of the tour, 20% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
> 40 days to 15 days prior to departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
> 14 days to 07 days prior to departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
> 07 days to 01 days prior to departure of the tour 100% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.

There will be no refund for NO SHOWS.

FAQ


How to reach Hospet?
By Air - The nearest airport is Hubli, which is 150kms (3 hours) from Hospet.
By Train - Hosapete railway station is well connected to different cities. It takes 9 hours from Hyderabad or Bangalore and 18 hours from Mumbai.

Is this tour only for Photographers?
No anyone can join.

Will I get Photography guidance during the tour?
Yes, of course. Apart from guidance in the field, we will spend time reviewing the pictures during the evening.

Will there be a lot of walking involved?
We will climb up the small hill at Hemakunta (about 20 mins). We will walk about 5 kms in a day in the plains. Please wear good walking shoes. It might be sunny, so a hat or cap is also recommended.
