The Pushkar photo tour is one of the most rewarding tours in India. If you are interested in shooting Indian culture and portraits, this tour is for you. This tour offers great opportunities for street photographers and for culture/festival photographers.

We will make your DREAM COME TRUE - your dream to witness the beautiful fair and to capture it. We will also take some great portraits of the locals.
We will be going the right places at the right time. I will suggest you the right settings for taking pictures and will personally assist you so that you go back with some great shots. We also do post-processing and feedback/review sessions whenever possible, during the tour.
Saurabh has been visiting these regions for more than a decade and great knowledge about the place.
You will also be in company of some great fellow travellers and will make friends for life.

Please Note: This tour involves a lot of walking. People who have mobility issues are not recommended to join this tour.

Feedback from last year's Pushkar Photography Tour
I got associated with Saurabh Chatterjee for the Pushkar camel fair, 21st to 24th November 2023. Mr. Saurabh and myself being from same city, we infact had a one-on-one casual meeting almost a month before the tour. What I remember from the meeting was Mr. Saurabh was extremely humble and down-to-earth person. Despite achieving big-time accolades, he remains grounded.
For the Pushkar photo tour, we were just five of us in the group, me being from Mumabi and 4 others joining from abroad (3 from Japan & 1 from Switzerland). During the photo tour, I observed his keen interest in guiding each group member. Saurabh took care of everyone individually in terms of their daily learnings during Pushkar photography, their stay, food and whatever would make them feel at home. To make my photography meaningful he even guided me to the locations of sun set, sun rise, the right subject, camera settings etc. On day 3 he even took me to a location where one can get a bird's-eye view of the big canvas of the camel fair. Without clicking this scene, my photo tour would have been incomplete. I am thankful to Saurabh for sharing his vision on the crucial photo
Right in the beginning, Saurabh told me he would only take only 4-5 photographers to ensure he gives total attention to everyone. The fact that we were only 5 of us in the team ensured Saurabh gave ample time to each member and clarified any doubts on the field. This personal care and his mastery as a coach, gives me the assurance to travel with him for more tours going forward.

Itinerary -
Cost: Rs.INR 50,000/- (Single rooms, no sharing)
Only 7 participants on first come first serve basis.
Cost includes
The cost includes the following:1) Accommodation in Pushkar. (single rooms)
2) Travel from Jaipur hotel to Pushkar and drop back from Pushkar hotel to airport
3) Breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Day 1 afternoon to Day 5 morning.
3) Expert guidance for Photography by Saurabh Chatterjee
Cost does not include
1) Travel cost from your destination to Jaipur and back.2) Mineral water, any additional food ordered apart from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Payment Policy
Rs. 20000/- booking amount.
Rest 45 days before the date of the tour.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation costs us too.
As people generally plan in advance, it becomes impossible for us to fill the seats last moment. So, if you cancel, the seat goes vacant. Also, in most places, we have to book well in advance due to the limited choices.
So, please book your tour only if you are sure.
Refund Policy
60 days to 45 days prior to departure of the tour, 20% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
40 days to 15 days prior to departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
14 days to 07 days prior to departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
07 days or less prior to departure of the tour 100% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
There will be no refund for no shows.

1. Do I need to be physically fit to join this trip? Yes, this tour involves gentle walking of about 6 kms every day
2. Is this trip only for Photographers? No, anyone can join. We will spend a lot of time taking some great pictures though. I'm sure everyone loves doing that. We have had non-photographers in our previous trips and they enjoy as much.
3. I have no knowledge of Photography. Will I get some help? Yes, absolutely. Saurabh will be assisting you all the time. He will help you on how to take some great pictures. So, you will learn while having fun on the go.
4. I don't have a camera. Can I get a camera or lenses on rent? Yes, the camera/lens can be arranged on request, subject to availability. 5. How do I reach Pushkar? The nearest airport is Kishangarh/Jaipur. Please read my blog (link above) for all details.
